About Florida Healthcare Freedom

Healthcare is an individual choice, not a mandate from Washington...

Mission Statement:

To place an Amendment to the Florida Constitution on the 2010 ballot that acknowledges and protects two fundamental rights:

1) The right to spend your own money to seek out and receive the best and most appropriate health care for your and your family.

2) The right to choose NOT to participate in any healthcare system, of any type.

Although most all Floridians acknowledge that our current healthcare system is in need of some changes, most also believe that we need to protect the rights of the individual to make their own health care decisions. If you get scared when you think of the federal government taking over our healthcare system. You need to support our effort. If you want to continue to choose your own doctor--not have him chosen by some bureaucrat in Washington, D.C.-- and you live in the great State of Florida, please join our movement.

This effort was inspired by the efforts of the people of Arizona and the Arizona Legislature, to both send a message to Washington and to provide the legal means to fight back via the 10th Amendment of the US Constitution if they do implement such a risky scheme. (To see more of what Arizona has accomplished to date, go here.) Five other states have already joined the fight: Indiana, Minnesota, New Mexico, North Dakota and Wyoming.
